Join us for a weekend in San Diego this December! This Hybrid style AWLS course allows students to take some of the lectures online, ahead of time creating more time for hands-on skills when we are in person at the AWLS course. Our course will be based at the famous Mission Bay Marina, we will have classroom lectures in the Marina Village and hands-on skills and scenarios out by the water. Ocean kayaking around the bay included!
Most of our AWLS courses are hosted as part of one of our adventure trips. We have learned that combining online lectures with hands-on skills in a wilderness setting provides a unique learning opportunity that is much more practical. In additional the wilderness medicine skills participants will also learn a variety of outdoor skills pertinent to the specific adventure trip such as swift water safety, rescue, survival & navigation. We hope to see you on a future AWLS adventure!
